Message	Every Z I've ever sat in has a "whirring" sound in neutral with the clutch engaged (clutch pedal out). I think it's "normal." So that in and of itself isn't a problem. Whining while driving is something else though... Could it be a mounting issue, i.e., not perfecly aligned?
